FISHING TIPS
- Water Type
- Medium fast runs and riffles
- Nymph
- Use sinking nymph; fish deep
- Dun
- Trout must be stalked carefully due to the low water conditions. Use a fine tippet and cast delicately to feeding trout. Normal hatching is generally late evening when temperatures are cooler. Rainy overcast days produce good hatches.
- Spinner
- Spinner falls occur at dusk. Find a good position to cast at feeding trout. Use fine tippet and stealth. Duns may be emerging at the same time so determine which phase the trout are taking if necessary.
